اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ، وَحَصِّنْ ثُغُورَ الْمُسْلِمِینَ بِعِزَّتِكَ
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household, and fortify the borders of Muslims with Your might,
وَأَيِّدْ حُمَاتَهَا بِقُوَّتِكَ، وَأَسْبِغْ عَطَايَاهُمْ مِنْ جِدَتِكَ
support their defenders with Your strength, and bestow upon them gifts through Your great bounty.
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ، وَكَثِّـرْ عِدَّتَهُمْ، وَاشْحَذْ أَسْلِحَتَهُمْ
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household, and increase their numbers, and sharpen their weapons,
وَاحْرُسْ حَوْزَتَهُمْ وَامْنَعْ حَوْمَتَهُمْ
guard their territory, and protect their surroundings from the enemy,
وَأَلِّفْ جَمْعَهُمْ، وَدَبِّرْ أَمْرَهُمْ
establish unity among them, and manage their affairs,
وَ وَاتِرْ بَیْنَ مِیَرِهِمْ، وَتَوَحَّدْ بِكِفَايَةِ مُؤَنِهِمْ
continuously provide their sustenance, and be the only One to supply their provisions,
وَاعْضُدْهُمْ بِالنَّصْـرِ، وَأَعِنْهُمْ بِالصَّبْرِ، وَالْطُفْ لَهُمْ فِي الْمَكْرِ
strengthen them with victory, help them be patient, and graciously guide them in resolving their challenges.
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ وَعَرِّفْهُمْ مَا يَجْهَلُونَ
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household, and grant them knowledge of what they are unaware of,
وَعَلِّمْهُمْ مَا لَايَعْلَمُونَ، وَبَصِّـرْهُمْ مَا لَايُبْصِرُونَ
teach them what they do not know, and give them insight into what they cannot see.
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ، وَأَنْسِهِمْ عِنْدَ لِقَائِهِمُ الْعَدُوَّ ذِكْرَ دُنْـيَاهُمُ الْخَدَّاعَةِ الْغَرُورِ
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his Household, and when they confront the enemy, make them forget the thoughts of this deceitful and misleading world,
وَامْحُ عَنْ قُلُوبِهِمْ خَطَرَاتِ الْمَالِ الْفَتُونِ
and remove the temptations of wealth from their hearts,
وَاجْعَلِ الْجَنَّةَ نَصْبَ أَعْيُنِهِمْ، وَلَوِّحْ مِنْهَا لِأَبْصَارِهِمْ مَا أَعْدَدْتَ فِيهَا مِنْ مَسَاكِنِ الْخُلْدِ، وَمَنَازِلِ الْكَرَامَةِ، وَالْحُورِ الْحِسَانِ، وَالْأَنْهَارِ الْمُطَّرِدَةِ بِأَنْوَاعِ الْأَشْـرِبَةِ، وَالْأَشْجَارِ الْمُتَدَلِّيَةِ بِصُنُوفِ الثَّمَرِ
place Heaven before their eyes, and show them a glimpse of the blessings You have prepared for them, such as eternal homes, exalted stations, beautiful houris, flowing rivers with various kinds of drinks, and the trees with hanging leaves bearing all kinds of fruits.
حَتَّى لَا يَهُمَّ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ بِالْإدْبَارِ وَلَا يُحَدِّثَ نَفْسَهُ عَنْ قِرْنِهِ بِفِرَارٍ
[show them these blessings] so that none of them will consider retreating or even think of evading the enemy.
اَللّٰهُمَّ افْلُلْ بِذَلِكَ عَدُوَّهُمْ، وَاقْلِمْ عَنْهُمْ أَظْفَارَهُمْ وَفَرِّقْ بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَیْنَ أَسْلِحَتِهِمْ
O Allah, defeat their enemies through that, clip the enemy’s wings, separate the enemies from their weapons,
وَاخْلَعْ وَثَائِقَ أَفْئِدَتِهِمْ، وَبَاعِدْ بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَیْنَ أَزْوِدَتِهِمْ
scare them to death, and keep them far away from their provisions,
وَحَیِّرْهُمْ في سُبُلِهِمْ، وَضَلِّلْهُمْ عَنْ وَجْهِهِمْ
make them bewildered in their paths, and mislead them from their goal,
وَاقْطَعْ عَنْهُمُ الْمَدَدَ، وَانْقُصْ مِنْهُمُ الْعَدَدَ، وَامْلَأْ أَفْئِدَتَهُمْ الرُّعْبَ
leave them without support, diminish their number, and fill their hearts with terror,
وَاقْبِضْ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنِ الْبَسْطِ، وَاخْزِمْ أَلْسِنَتَهُمْ عَنِ النُّطْقِ
hinder their ability to act, and silence their tongues from speech,
وَشَـرِّدْ بِهِمْ مَنْ خَلْفَهُمْ، وَنَكِّلْ بِهِمْ مَنْ وَرَاءَهُمْ، وَاقْطَعْ بِخِزْيِهِمْ أَطْمَاعَ مَنْ بَعْدَهُمْ
scatter the ones behind them by their defeat, make their defeat a lesson for those who follow them, and through their humiliation, cut off the hopes of the future enemies.
اَللّٰهُمَّ عَقِّمْ أَرْحَامَ نِسَائِهِمْ، وَ يَبِّسْ أَصْلَابَ رِجَالِهِمْ
O Allah, make their women unable to conceive, make their men infertile,
وَاقْطَعْ نَسْلَ دَوَابِّهِمْ وَأَنْعَامِهِمْ، لَاتَأْذَنْ لِسَمَائِهِمْ فِي قَــطْرٍ، وَلَا لِأَرْضِهِمْ في نَبَاتٍ
stop their livestock from breeding, and do not permit their sky to rain, nor the earth to produce vegetation for them.
اَللّٰهُمَّ وَقَـوِّ بِذَلِكَ مِحَالَّ أَهْلِ الْإِسْلَامِ، وَحَصِّنْ بِهِ دِيَارَهُمْ
O Allah, with this, strengthen the position of Muslims, and fortify their lands,
وَثَـمِّرْ بِهِ أَمْـوَالَهُمْ، وَفَــرِّغْهُمْ عَنْ مُحَارَبَتِهِمْ لِعِبَادَتِكَ
increase their wealth, free them from their fighting to worship You,
وَعَنْ مُنَابَذَتِهِمْ لِلْخَلْوَةِ بِكَ، حَتَّى لَايُعْبَدَ فِي بِقَاعِ الْأَرْضِ غَیْرُكَ
and [give them ease] from their warfare to seek solitude with You, so that no one is worshipped in the lands except You,
وَلَا تُعَفَّرَ لِأَحَدٍ مِنْهُمْ جَبْهَةٌ دُونَكَ
and no one’s forehead prostrates to anyone but You.
اَللّٰهُمَّ اغْزُ بِكُلِّ نَاحِيَةٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِینَ عَلَی مَنْ بِـإِزَائِهِمْ مِنَ الْمُشْـرِكِینَ
O Allah, make the Muslims of every region rise against the polytheists who oppose them,
وَأَمْدِدْهُمْ بِـمَلَائِكَةٍ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ مُرْدِفِینَ، حَتَّى يَكْشِفُوهُمْ إِلَی مُنْقَطَعِ التُّرَابِ قَتْلًا فِي أَرْضِكَ وَأَسْـراً
reinforce them with angels from Yourself who follow one another in succession, until they defeat the enemies to the point of complete destruction, killing them in Your land and taking them as captives,
أَوْ يُقِرُّوا بِأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللهُ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ لَاشَرِيكَ لَكَ
or let them confess that You are God and there is no god but You, that You are One and have no associate.
اَللّٰهُمَّ وَاعْمُمْ بِذَلِكَ أَعْدَاءَكَ فِي أَقْطَارِ الْبِلَادِ مِنَ الْهِنْدِ وَالرُّومِ وَالتُّـرْكِ، وَالْخَزَرِ وَالْحَبَشِ، وَالنُّوبَةِ وَالزَّنْجِ، وَالسَّقَالِبَةِ وَالدَّيَالِمَةِ، وَسَائِرِ أُمَمِ الشِّرْكِ الَّذِينَ تَخْفىَ أَسْمَاؤُهُمْ وَصِفَاتُهُمْ، وَقَدْ أَحْصَيْتَهُم بِمَعْرِفَتِكَ، وَأَشْرَفْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِقُدْرَتِكَ
O Allah, extend this to all Your enemies in every corner of the world from the Indians, the Romans, the Turks, the Khazars, the Abyssinians, the Nubians, the Zanjs, the Slavs, the Daylamites, and the rest of the polytheists whose names and attributes are concealed from us, but whom You have counted by Your knowledge, and You have elevated with Your power.
اَللّٰهُمَّ اشْغَلِ الْمُشْرِكِینَ بِالْمُشْرِكِینَ عَنْ تَـنَاوُلِ أَطْرَافِ الْمُسْلِمِینَ
O Allah, let the polytheists be preoccupied with one another, so they cannot reach the Muslims’ lands.
وَخُذْهُمْ بِالنَّقْصِ عَنْ تَنَقُّصِهِمْ، وَثَـبِّطْهُمْ بِالْفُرْقَةِ عَنِ الِاحْتِشَادِ عَلَيْهِمْ
By diminishing their numbers, prevent them from diminishing Muslims, and weaken them through division, so they will not be able to unite against Muslims.
اَللّٰهُمَّ أَخْلِ قُلُوبَهُمْ مِنَ الْأَمَنَةِ، وَأَبْدَانَهُمْ مِنَ الْقُوَّةِ
O Allah, unsettle their hearts, deprive their bodies of strength,
وَأَذْهِلْ قُلُوبَهُمْ عَنِ الِاحْتِيَالِ، وَأَوْهِنْ أَرْكَانَهُمْ عَنْ مُنَازَلَةِ الرِّجَالِ
distract their hearts from scheming, and weaken their limbs from standing against Muslim soldiers,
وَجَبِّنْهُمْ عَنْ مُقَارَعَةِ الْأَبْطَالِ
Instill fear and terror in their hearts, and make them cowardly in facing heroes,
وَابْعَثْ عَلَيْهِمْ جُنْداً مِنْ مَلَائِكَتِكَ بِبَأْسٍ مِنْ بَأْسِكَ كَفِعْلِكَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ، تَقْطَعُ بِهِ دَابِرَهُمْ، وَتَحْصُدُ بِهِ شَوْكَـتَهُمْ، وَتُفَرِّقُ بِهِ عَدَدَهُمْ
send upon them a troop of Your angels to torture them, as You did at the Battle of Badr, to cut off their lineage, break their might, and scatter their forces.
اَللّٰهُمَّ وَامْزُجْ مِيَاهَهُمْ بِالْوَبَاءِ، وَأَطْعِمَتَهُمْ بِالْأَدْوَاءِ
O Allah, contaminate their water with filth and their foods with disease,
وَارْمِ بِلَادَهُمْ بِالْخُسُوفِ، وَأَلِحَّ عَلَيْهَا بِالْقُذُوفِ
hurl down their cities to the ground, and bring upon them continuous calamities;
وَافْرَعْهَا بِالْمُحُولِ، وَاجْعَلْ مِیَرَهُمْ في أَحَصِّ أَرْضِكَ وَأَبْعَدِهَا عَنْهُمْ
destroy their lands with drought and famine, place their supplies in the most uninhabited part of Your earth and the farthest from them,
وَامْنَعْ حُصُونَهَا مِنْهُمْ، أَصِبْهُمْ بِالْجُوعِ الْمُقِيمِ وَالسُّقْمِ الْأَلِيمِ
withhold the fortresses of the earth from them, and strike them with constant hunger and painful disease.
اَللّٰهُمَّ وَأَيُّـمَا غَازٍ غَزَاهُمْ مِنْ أَهْلِ مِلَّتِكَ، أَوْ مُجَاهِدٍ جَاهَدَهُمْ مِنْ أَتْبَاعِ سُنَّتِكَ، لِيَكُونَ دِينُكَ الْأَعْلَی، وَحِزْبُكَ الْأَقْـوَى، وَحَظُّكَ الْأَوْفَی، فَلَقِّهِ الْيُسْـرَ، وَهَيِّىءْ لَهُ الْأَمْرَ، وَتَـوَلَّهُ بِالنُّجْحِ
O Allah, to every warrior from Your religion or every fighter from the followers of Your Sunnah who struggles against them in Your cause to make Your religion supreme, Your party the strongest, and the share of Your friends the fullest, grant ease and manage his affair,
وَتَخَیَّرْ لَهُ الْأَصْحَابَ، وَاسْتَقْوِ لَهُ الظَّهْرَ، وَأَسْبِغْ عَلَيْهِ فِي النَّفَقَةِ، وَمَتِّعْهُ بِالنَّشَاطِ
and guide him to success, choose [decent] companions for him, be his pillar of strength, bestow upon him abundance in provisions, and fill him with energy
وَأَطْفِئْ عَنْهُ حَرَارَةَ الشَّوْقِ، وَأَجِرْەُ مِنْ غَمِّ الْوَحْشَةِ، وَأَنْسِهِ ذِكْرَ الْأَهْلِ وَالْوَلَدِ
extinguish the fire of desire and longing [for this world] from his heart, protect him from the distress of loneliness, and make him forget the memory of his family and children,
وَ آثِرْ لَهُ حُسْنَ النِّيَّةِ، وَتَوَلَّهُ بِالْعَافِيَةِ، وَأَصْحِبْهُ السَّلَامَةَ، وَأَعْفِهِ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ، وَأَلْهِمْهُ الْجُرْأَةَ
grant him pure intention, take care of his health and well-being, grant him safety, release him from cowardice, inspire him with courage, and grant him strength,
وَارْزُقْهُ الشِّدَّةَ، وَأَيِّدْەُ بِالنُّصْـرَةِ، وَعَلِّمْهُ السِّیَرَ وَالسُّنَنَ، وَسَدِّدْەُ فِي الْحُكْمِ
assist him with victory teach him the [Islamic] ways and the Sunnah, and direct his judgment to be sound and just,
وَأَعْزِلْ عَنْهُ الرِّيَاءَ، وَخَلِّصْهُ مِنَ السُّمْعَةِ، وَاجْعَلْ فِكْرَەُ وَذِكْرَەُ وَظَعْنَهُ وَ إِقَامَتَهُ فِيكَ وَلَكَ
keep him away from hypocrisy, purify him from showing off and seeking fame, and make his thoughts, remembrance, journey, and residence centered in You and for You.
فَإِذَا صَافَّ عَدُوَّكَ وَعَدُوَّەُ فَقَلِّلْهُمْ فِي عَيْنِهِ، وَصَغِّرْ شَأْنَهُمْ فِي قَلْبِهِ
Whenever he encounters Your enemies and his own, make them appear few in his eyes, and diminish their importance in his heart,
وَأَدِلْ لَهُ مِنْهُمْ وَلَا تُدِلْهُمْ مِنْهُ، فَإِنْ خَتَمْتَ لَهُ بِالسَّعَادَةِ، وَقَضَيْتَ لَهُ بِالشَّهَادَةِ
grant him victory over them and do not let them overpower him. If You have destined a blessed end to his life, and You have decreed martyrdom for him,
فَبَعْدَ أَنْ يَجْتَاحَ عَدُوَّكَ بِالْقَتْلِ، وَبَعْدَ أَنْ يَجْهَدَ بِهِمُ الْأَسْـرُ، وَبَعْدَ أَنْ تَأْمَنَ أَطْرَافُ الْمُسْلِمِینَ، وَبَعْدَ أَنْ يُوَلِّي عَدُوُّكَ مُدْبِرِينَ
then let it be after he has exterminated Your enemies, let it be after he subdues them with captivity, let it be after the surroundings and borders of Muslim lands have found security, and let it be after Your enemies have fled away the battlefield in defeat.
اَللّٰهُمَّ وَأَيُّـمَا مُسْلِمٍ خَلَفَ غَازِياً، أَوْ مُرَابِطاً فِي دَارِەِ، أَوْ تَعَهَّدَ خَالِفِيهِ فِي غَيْبَتِهِ، أَوْ أَعَانَهُ بِطَائِفَةٍ مِنْ مَالِهِ
O Allah, any Muslim who takes responsibility for a warrior’s household, supports his family in his absence, and assists him with a significant portion of his wealth,
أَوْ أَمَدَّەُ بِعَتَادٍ، أَوْ شَحَذَەُ عَلَی جِهَادٍ، أَوْ أَتْبَعَهُ فِي وَجْهِهِ دَعْوَةً، أَوْ رَعَى لَهُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ حُرْمَةً
provides him with armaments, encourages him to engage in jihad, prays for him, or protects his honor in his absence,
فَأَجْرِ لَهُ مِثْلَ أَجْرِەِ وَزْناً بِوَزْنٍ، وَمِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ، وَعَوِّضْهُ مِنْ فِعْلِهِ عِوَضاً حَاضِراً يَتَعَجَّلُ بِهِ نَفْعَ مَا قَدَّمَ
reward him with the same reward as the warrior, in equal measures, and grant him an immediate reward for his actions in this world, the profit of what he has sent forth, and the joy of what he has done,
وَسُـرُورَ مَا أَتَی إِلَی أَنْ يَنْتَهِيَ بِهِ الْوَقْتُ إِلَی مَا أَجْرَيْتَ لَهُ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ، وَأَعْدَدْتَ لَهُ مِنْ كَرَامَتِكَ
so that when his life comes to an end, he may attain the reward that You have prepared for him, out of Your kindness and generosity.
اَللّٰهُمَّ وَأَيُّـمَا مُسْلِمٍ أَهَمَّهُ أَمْرُ الْإِسْلَامِ، وَأَحْزَنَهُ تَحَزُّبُ أَهْلِ الشِّـرْكِ عَلَيْهِمْ
O Allah, any Muslim who is worried about the affairs of Islam and saddened by the unification of polytheists against Muslims
فَنَوَی غَزْواً، أَوْ هَمَّ بِجِهَادٍ، فَقَعَدَ بِهِ ضَعْفٌ، أَوْ أَبْطَأَتْ بِهِ فَاقَةٌ أَوْ أَخَّرَەُ عَنْهُ حَادِثٌ، أَوْ عَرَضَ لَهُ دُونَ إِرَادَتِهِ مَانِعٌ
and who intends to go to war or strives for jihad but is held back by weakness or delayed by poverty, or an unforeseen hindrance delays his departure, or an obstacle outside his will stops him,
فَاكْتُبِ اسْمَهُ فِي الْعَابِدِينَ، وَأَوْجِبْ لَهُ ثَوَابَ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ، وَاجْعَلْهُ فِي نِظَامِ الشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِینَ
write his name among worshipers, give him the reward of those who strive in the path of Allah, and place him in the ranks of the martyrs and the righteous.
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَ رَسُولِكَ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَاةً عَالِيَةً عَلَی الصَّلَوَاتِ، مُشْـرِفَةً فَوْقَ التَّحِيَّاتِ
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad, Your servant and messenger, and his Household, blessings greater than all other blessings and more exalted than all greetings;
صَلَاةً لَايَنْتَهِي أَمَدُهَا وَلَا يَنْقَطِعُ عَدَدُهَا، كَأَتَمِّ مَا مَضَی مِنْ صَلَوَاتِكَ عَلَی أَحَدٍ مِنْ أَوْلِيَائِكَ
blessings that never end nor diminish in number, as complete as the finest blessings You have ever sent upon any of Your chosen ones,
إِنَّكَ الْمَنَّانُ الْحَمِيدُ، الْمُبْدِئُ الْمُعِيدُ، الْفَعَّالُ لِمَا تُرِيدُ
Indeed, You are the Generous, the Praiseworthy, the Originator, the Restorer, and You do whatever You will.
